Well we had to look this up and it means to burn, an apt name for a luxury candle maker in London.

We found Ambustum by accident when we were looking to stock really good Christmas candles last year, that actually smell and her’s definitely do.

In fact we sold out of the Noel one really quickly.

Sari is a wonderful, energetic person who runs Ambustum, hosts candle making workshops in London and works for a charity too, how she does it all we’ll never know.

Earlier this year we were in London and she made a point of traveling across London to meet us as she’s a big fan of pause and refocus.
